The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) have established requirements for performance measurement to ensure strong grant stewardship and compliance. While grantor agencies are responsible for developing performance measurements under their programs, recipient organizations should be aware of the desired program outcomes and how they can best meet these goals, which include submitting quality performance reports and meeting outcomes throughout the performance period. This session will address performance measurement standards for federal grants and how to align program and financial management systems to meet grantor expectations. Participants will learn strategies for designing and sustaining systems to meet performance management goals and hear about real-world case studies demonstrating successful implementation.

Raymond Bantum, CPA, CITP
Mr. Bantum is the President of Bantum Consulting Services LLC. He specializes in providing Accounting and Information Technology consulting services to Native American tribes and Faith-Based, Nonprofit, For-Profit, Governmental, and Healthcare organizations. He has over 35 years of accounting and technology consulting experience. He is a CPA, a CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional), and a CMC (Certified Management Consultant). He has served in the U.S. Air Force, received a top-secret security clearance while in service to his country, received an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force, and is a service-disabled veteran. His company, Bantum Consulting Services LLC, is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business certified by the SBA (Small Business Administration VetCert Program). He was also an auditor with the accounting firm Deloitte and performed audits of federal grantees. He is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), MACPA (Maryland Association of CPAs), and NABA (National Association of Black Accountants). He also has performed financial technical assistance consulting for HUD, HHS, and the Department of Labor. He received an FBI security clearance for work with the Department of Justice as a computer forensic subcontractor while serving as the External Technology Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Office of CliftonLarsonAllen LLC.

Program Knowledge Level Policy:
The sponsor assures that the program content and program level is appropriate for the intended participants. The knowledge level of the course must be specified so that participants can determine if the program is appropriate for their development needs. Knowledge levels consist of: basic, intermediate, advanced, overview and update. All programs must clearly identify prerequisite education, experience and advanced preparation. A course knowledge level of intermediate, advanced or update inherently has an education or experience prerequisite, which should be included in the program descriptive materials. If you are not able to attend for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations received 24 hours prior to the start time of the audio conference are fully refundable. After that, cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee. If you prefer, you may substitute an upcoming audio conference for the one you originally registered for and avoid the $25 processing fee. All refunds resulting from cancellations will be issued within 72 hours.
